 Oh,
the anticipation of a new fiscal year! As we wait for a decision from a
number of cities and counties from around the US, the sales process for our
Canadian partner MuniSoft
has been much less anxiety producing.
Since last April, MuniSoft GM Alan Macdonald announced the confirmation of
31 sales! This brings the total number of new customers enjoying PubWorks
in Canada to 77 - very impressive! Thank you Alan, the first two
years of our partnership certainly have been excellent to say the least!
This extraordinary result has two principle sources. First, is the trusted
reputation and relationship Al and the MuniSoft team has developed among their
hundreds of customers. Second, in Canada, PSAB 3150 (the equivalent to GASB 34) is a key
driver and the bulk of the responsibility for PSAB 3150 compliance falls on
the shoulders of Public Works managers. PubWorks' comprehensive
yet easy-to-use asset management features make complying with PSAB 3150 a
snap for our customers to the North and we expect similar successes in the
months and years ahead.
Down here in the US, our New England sales partner
BMSI has just
received the go-ahead from Wells, Maine; Hanover, New Hampshire; Montville,
Connecticut and Wyoming County, New York.
Elsewhere, a number of deals are on the verge of closing in North Carolina,
West Virginia, Georgia, New Mexico and California. Like children at
Christmas, we anticipate great things and now that these agencies are
starting their new fiscal year, we should be hearing very soon about a host
of new orders.
