ended with a bang as we added customers all over the US and Canada. Here in
the US, some new large county customers have been added as well as a large
group of new Canadian municipalities...
Pueblo County, Colorado.
Asset management and cost accounting software have been used in Pueblo
County for quite some time but the fact that PubWorks offers a
high degree of sophistication in a very easy-to-use software package
convinced the county to come our way. Using our demo system, Philip McGrath
was able to demonstrate fast data entry and flexible, rich reporting. Pueblo
County has a large operation and the fact that they’ll be running
PubWorks SQL Server guarantees high-speed and reliable performance
regardless of how large their database grows.
Lexington County, South Carolina.
After a rigorous RFP process Lexington County selected PubWorks
the winner. As our first customer in South Carolina, LexCo chose
PubWorks because of its simple and straight forward design that
doesn’t compromise depth, flexibility or comprehensive reporting.
Additionally, the PubWorks Work Order Module will be
instrumental in helping LexCo manage a variety of maintenance programs.
LexCo is also a large operation and they to will be running PubWorks
SQL Server to guarantee high-speed and reliable performance now and well
into the future.
Lewis County,
located in north-western New York, has traditionally tracked almost
everything about their operation using many Excel spreadsheets.
PubWorks was selected because it gave them the ability to track work
and events, with a single point of data entry, in the detail they were
accustomed in addition to giving them a vast array of reporting tools that
are straight forward and easy to use. Lewis County also found PubWorks
to represent the best price/performance ratio of the products
evaluated.
In Canada, Alan
Macdonald and MuniSoft have installed or have scheduled installs for 24
towns and rural municipalities in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Many of the
agencies are on the small side but in Canada PSAB-3150 (similar to GASB 34
in the US) is a critical asset management issue and the fact that
PubWorks possesses a very easy-to-use asset registry has helped
secure this large chunk of new business.
