The PubWorks Tracker
 Volume 2, Edition 3

October  2006

Welcome to
The PubWorks Tracker, Tracker Software Corporation’s quarterly newsletter for all things PubWorks. It was one busy summer for us.

Between installing and training new customers, working on enhancements and developing new products, we’ve had our hands full. Knowing the Public Works business as well as we do, we know that you’ve likely had a busy summer too. Now that autumn is rapidly approaching, we hope you’ve got a little breathing room and can enjoy the latest edition of The PubWorks Tracker.

As always, we’ve done a lot of talking to our customers. In our Around the Industry column, Gary Gleason has written about growth, budgeting and organizational management. Gary has also written some compelling things about the Highway Users Tax Fund (HUTF) that we think will be of particular interest after a summer of record-high gasoline prices.

In a case study article, courtesy of the Colorado Public Works Journal, Don Ludwig explores the interesting and highly effective integration of the City of Windsor’s IT department into its Public Works department and how that facilitates town’s Fleet Management Master Plan. This innovative approach has proven itself to be very effective for Windsor and I think you’ll find it very interesting.

We’re particularly excited about two trade show we will be attending in late October and early November. Please see our Upcoming Events section and please look us up if you too plan on attending!

In our Notable and Quotable section, customers from around the country share some of the positive experiences they're having with PubWorks. Be assured we are hard at work to ensure that things continue to go well and that our product continues to improve.

Thanks for reading the Tracker, and please feel free to send us your comments, questions and ideas.

All the Best,
Peter Anzalone
President TSC
