New City and County Business
Since the last issue of the Tracker we’ve added our
20th Colorado County customer – Rio Grande County.
In Rio Grande County, Diana Rauch designed and wrote
a cost accounting program using dBase. She started
creating her program in the mid 1980s and she
designed the program around the guidelines set forth
by the
CARSE Cost Accounting Handbook. For 20 years
Diana’s program served the County Road & Bridge
department’s needs beautifully.
When Diana decided that she would retire at the end
of 2006 – after 30 years of dedicated and competent
service – the department, faced with the lose of
their in-house programmer, chose to go with program
that would bring them into the Windows environment
and one that would be maintained professional
software company. We at Tracker Software are very
proud and honored to have been chosen as Rio Grande
County’s new cost accounting, fleet and asset
management system.
We’d like to wish Diana an enjoyable and exciting
retirement!
