PubWorks
Tracker, Tracker Software Corporation’s
quarterly newsletter for all things PubWorks.
Since our April issue, we’ve continued to grow. We’ve added
seven new customers – looks like the word is getting out and
momentum is building. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank
our PubWorks customers for your ideas on product
development and your positive referrals to prospective
customers.
For this issue we did a lot of talking to our customers. We
wanted to find out how PubWorks is being used and
share those experiences with our Tracker readers. You’ll read
about several brand new customers and their early experiences
with PubWorks in the New City and County Business
section of this newsletter.
In another article, Three Case Studies, you’ll meet three
seasoned users of PubWorks. These articles are
full of specific scenarios that are being streamlined by the use
of PubWorks. I think you’ll find it very
interesting.
Don’t miss the Product News Section. Developer Mike Dibble
enthusiastically describes two enhancements which will be
released this summer. Road Segments and Linear Referencing
integrates PubWorks with your GIS system more
realistically and accurately. This powerful combination provides
the management and reporting details you need. Asset
Management Planning and Work Orders is a module that will
allow you to define any asset and manage maintenance,
scheduling, work orders and special situations specific to that
asset with ease. After reading about these new pieces of
functionality, I think you’ll share Mike’s enthusiasm!
Customers from across the country speak out on strategies for
coping with budget-busting fuel costs, and the challenges of
economic growth, are among the diverse and important topics
covered in our Around the Industry column.
