Work Orders

PubWorks has three ways to help you manage work orders:
      Work Orders
      Service Calls
      Fleet Work Orders

Work Orders allow you to create a list of work items to perform. The Work Order allows you to schedule work for a wide variety of tasks and asset type. You can also assign resources required for the completion of the work and automatically capture costs which is the crux of the PubWorks program. Here, information is pulled together from a variety of sources so you can capture work information exactly as it occurs on an ongoing basis.

Work Orders allow you establish work plans for future/recurring execution and provide a To Do List so you can easily check what you need to do based on your timeframe of interest.

Work Orders are composed of

Date performed - allowing for multiple work dates
Employees, Hours, Labor Rate and Labor Type
      Tasks performed
Assets worked on (e.g.: Streets, Roads, Signs, Culverts, etc...)
      Equipment used
      Materials used
Results observed to spawn subsequent/related Work Orders

Service Calls give you the tools to record and track requests-for-service as they reach your department. Service Calls can be tracked by type, location, department and assignee. They make use of existing employee and location data so integration with the cost accounting side of PubWorks is completely seamless. Service calls can be directly tied to Activities (actual work performed) - empowering you to account for the cost of the service calls handled by your department. Service Call reports include

      Status and Statistical Summaries
      General Cost Summaries
      Unit Cost Analysis Summary
Costs by Task (summary and detailed)
Costs by Employee (summary and detailed)
Costs by Location (summary and detailed)
      Labor Hour Summaries

Fleet Maintenance gives you a fully integrated vehicle repair Work Order that will to track all parts and labor activities for vehicle maintenance. The equipment present in the PubWorks database for road and bridge maintenance is the same set of equipment used by the Fleet Maintenance module – no duplicate data, no double entries! PubWorks Fleet Maintenance comes with the following software features

      Fleet Maintenance
      Repair Work Order
      PM Scheduling
      Part Inventory
      Fuel and Odometer Log
