Technical Details
PubWorks is a multi-user, secure database application written in Microsoft Visual Basic,
this means that PubWorks is fast. The PubWorks password protected database uses the
Microsoft Access jet engine, this means that your database is open and can be easily
read by a variety of software packages you might already own - for example
Crystal Reports or Microsoft Excel.
PubWorks runs on your department's existing PC network and can be installed on any PC in
the network. Each user has their own user ID and password to gain access to PubWorks
information and program features. Each user can be set up to have their own individual
set of access powers - this keeps sensitive data secure. The PubWorks database and report
files are stored on your network's server for shared access and easy maintenance.
To run PubWorks, each networked PC must meet the following requirements:
- Windows XP, NT, 2000, 98, 95.

32 Megabytes of RAM.

800x600 monitor resolution.
