New equipment usage rates are based on the cost of
maintenance performed (fuel, parts, labor and contractor services) plus any
depreciation plus any values you wish to enter in a category called
“other.”
The
rate calculation can be based on either on actual or estimated use.
A new equipment usage rate is
calculated by dividing cost by usage producing a dollars per mile
or dollars per hour value.
Calculations can be run any number
of times until you are satisfied with the results. Once satisfied with
the results you can automatically update all listed equipment with the
new rates by clicking the Update Equipment button.
